Colorful Art and Spooky Fun at Wayne Arts Gallery This Weekend
Wayne Arts Gallery is offering two very different reasons to stop in this weekend: colorful works by a local artist and a gallery full of spooky seasonal creativity. Located at 108 West Miller Street in Newark, the gallery is showcasing artwork by Erin-Marie Marshall alongside its Halloween art show, which features plenty of student artwork from across Wayne County.
In the Fayad Gallery, visitors can enjoy Marshall’s lovely, colorful works. Over in the main gallery, the mood takes a darker turn with the Spooktacular Halloween art show. Together, the exhibits offer a chance to appreciate local talent, see what young artists around the county have created, and add a little art to your fall plans.
The gallery will be open during its regular hours Thursday, October 15, from 5–8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, October 16–17, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
The fun continues with special evening hours for the fourth annual Spooky Art Extravaganza: Haunted Gallery Family Fun Days, happening Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, from 5–8 p.m. This free, family-friendly event includes spooky exhibits, a haunted gallery, face painting, crafts, and snacks.
Whether you’re drawn to bright colors or the spookier side of the season, stop by Wayne Arts Gallery to explore both shows and support the artists in our community.
